Just getting started? Get up-to-speed with one of these LSAT study guides.
How Many Hours Should You Put into Your LSAT Study Schedule?
To do well on the LSAT, we recommend spending at least 150 to 300 hours on your LSAT prep. If you were hoping to study for the LSAT in 1 month, please note that the minimum amount of time it is recommended for you to study for the LSAT would be about 40 hours per week (150 hours minimum / 4 weeks). For this reason, we don’t exactly recommend a one-month LSAT study schedule unless absolutely necessary.
These LSAT study schedules are intended for high scorers and you can also consider LSAT tutoring. Those who do not study for the recommended 150-300 hours should be considering law schools that will fit their achievable score.

1 Month LSAT Study Schedule
Overall: Studying 40 hours per week, you will be ready for the LSAT in 1 month.
Total Study Time: 160 hours
To reach the minimum study hours for the LSAT in a 1-month LSAT study schedule, you will need to put in 40 hours per week. Doing well on a one-month LSAT study schedule is no easy feat and is not recommended unless absolutely necessary. That said, because we know life happens, we have provided a one-month LSAT study schedule for all the warriors out there. Prepare to leave your friends and social life behind for the next 4 weeks, because this is going to be the equivalent of a full-time job (we warned you).
A 40-hour one-month LSAT study schedule is really only recommended for those who do not currently have a job or are working part-time as they work their way through their LSAT prep. This study schedule adds up to about 7 hours per day for 6 days or 8 hours per day for 5 days. How you choose days is completely up to you, but please try to maintain a consistent study schedule. If you do not expect to want to study on Saturday and Sunday, then by all means, do not plan a study schedule that incorporates weekend studying. Seems pretty obvious, but some people can overestimate their self discipline.

Example of a 1-Month LSAT Study Schedule:
Sunday: Off
Monday: 9-1 LSAT, 1-2 Lunch, 2-5 LSAT, 5-7 Break, 7-8 LSAT
Tuesday: 9-1 LSAT, 1-2 Lunch, 2-5 LSAT, 5-7 Break, 7-8 LSAT
Wednesday: 9-1 LSAT, 1-2 Lunch, 2-5 LSAT, 5-7 Break, 7-8 LSAT
Thursday: 9-1 LSAT, 1-2 Lunch, 2-5 LSAT, 5-7 Break, 7-8 LSAT
Friday: 9-1 LSAT, 1-2 Lunch, 2-5 LSAT, 5-7 Break, 7-8 LSAT
Saturday: Off
Please understand this schedule is very heavy and may not be doable for all. If the schedule we just showed you does not seem realistic for your study abilities, then reconsider your LSAT test date and try to open up more time so that you can pursue a more reasonable two-month or three-month LSAT study schedule.
