All About PowerScore LSAT Prep
The PowerScore LSAT review course comes with six different options. All are tailored toward a different type of learner. Each includes study materials, a study plan, a study schedule, and live online webcasts.
As of June 2022, in-person instruction is suspended due to Covid-19, but it is expected to resume at some indefinite future point.
PowerScore LSAT offers weekend instruction for students who are pressed for time or otherwise engaged during the week. Additionally, they have multiple contact options and are well-known for their responsive communication.
My Thoughts on the PowerScore LSAT Course
Let’s break down a few key aspects of the Powerscore LSAT review courses, to which I add my two cents based on experience.
Lesson Videos
The lesson videos included in the PowerScore LSAT course are not high-quality relative to some other companies’ prep videos. The videos are grainy and the audio, at times, sounds muted.
However, the videos are dense with information.
Personally, I’m indifferent to the technical quality and would rather have the content quality, which, again, PowerScore offers. If, like me, you’re not bothered by the lower quality it shouldn’t be a problem. If higher-quality video is a non-negotiable for you, on the other hand, consider passing on Powerscore.
My Rating: 3/5
Study Plan
The PowerScore LSAT course comes with a free self-study plan. You can customize it based on how much time you have in your prep window until game day. I like this option because it can help you stay on track during your study journey. Check out our list for free LSAT study guides.
That said, most LSAT prep programs come with some version of a study plan, so it’s by no means a feature unique to PowerScore.
On Demand lessons include readings and videos to work through.
My Rating: 5/5
LSAT Practice Tests and Question Explanations
The PowerScore LSAT practice tests and questions are top-notch.
Here is a view of the digital practice tests, which can be found in your student dashboard.
The more expensive packages include 7,000+ practice questions and 31 practice tests. Even the cheapest option comes with 1,300+ practice questions and 9 practice tests. It also includes tips to consider when studying and taking tests.
After taking your tests, you can see your analytics, that track your performance based on section and question type.

Online LSAT Class Experience
Since PowerScore is well-known for its in-person experience, they put extra effort into making sure their online class experience is equally, or at least comparably, immersive.
Live online class works through drills and includes chat for students to participate in the lesson.
Their on-demand classes are thorough and come with numerous materials. Based on impartial reviews, students seem to enjoy the online class experience almost as much as in person.
My Rating: 4.5/5
PowerScore Course Cost & Refunds
The cost of a PowerScore LSAT course ranges widely from $299 to $1,295. I appreciate, as you might, that there is a staggered hierarchy of price points, with the lower tiers affordable even on a shoestring budget.
The lower-priced options include everything a student needs to prepare effectively.
Unfortunately, PowerScore’s refund policy leaves much to be desired. Students are still required to pay for all hours used plus a $50 administration fee.
My Rating: 3.5/5
Free Trials
There are a number of free study materials and previews on the PowerScore website. Students can test them out before purchasing the course. The free trial includes the entire LSAT Exam from June 2017, free test scoring, and a preview of the first lesson.
My Rating: 4.5/5
